Beautiful Ethan Allen ginger jar and bowl set. Looks beautiful on a mantel, shelf or table. The ginger jars originally sold for $450 each and the bowl for $250. These are quite difficult to find in a full set; but well worth it! Each ginger jar is 14 inches tall and the bowl is 10.5 inches in diameter. (Potpourri shown in bowl is not included.)
Using techniques that have remained unchanged for hundreds of years and materials from Jiangxi (the source of some of the world's finest porcelain clay, craftsmen create these exquisite handmade porcelains just as their grandfathers did, and their grandfathers before them. Their methods are traditional, intensely detailed, and increasingly rare. The sheer scale of this jar is breathtaking and impressive, and the classic, floral hand-painted design
