For more than 25 years I have planned and executed weddings for clients. I have worked with brides and their families with budgets that have ranged from just a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands. I have worked with some over a couple years engagement period and one in particular we pulled off in less than six weeks! I have worked with brides that have wanted control of every aspect of their wedding down to how they wanted their forks laid out by the cake. I worked with one who didn't want to do anything but show up at rehearsal and the wedding! I picked her flowers, her cake,her toasting flutes...everything!!! I have stepped in at the tail end of the process and did just day of coordination. I have stepped in half way through when things started getting a little more hectic and I have been hired a week after the couple got engaged and helped with everything. Through it all I have loved every minute of my time with my brides and their families.

A long time ago I realized that some questions that need to be asked of vendors weren't being asked. I decided that it was time that someone worked out a systematic way of comparing vendors and asking the right questions so that any bride can manage their planning more easily. I also wanted an easier way for them to make informed choices. These spreadsheets work great! Some of the questions seem obvious but it is amazing how easy it is to forget to ask even the obvious questions while sitting with someone trying to sell you their services. There are over 100 sheets in the PDF. You can print the ones that you need to take with you or put them on your tablet and fill them in during your meetings! Whatever works best for you.

Each spreadsheet has 1 column of questions and three columns to meet with three different vendors to compare them side by side. They range from finding your ceremony site to what to ask bridal dress salons when you call them to comparing florists side by side, flower by flower. Questions to ask if you are looking for a coordinator. Like I tell brides and their families -- most anyone can plan a wedding, executing it while you are participating in it can be a bit tricky. You might want to find a coordinator but be sure of what your getting! Ask the right questions!!!
